Beyond Horizons Youth & Family Services provides intensive, child and family-focused support to help families strengthen their capacity to safely care for their children and create more stable home environments.
Our support is tailored to the individual needs of each family and may be provided within the family home and community. We work alongside children, parents, carers, Child Protection and other professionals to identify challenges, build on family strengths and work towards practical and sustainable change.

Building Family Strengths
Working with families to identify their existing strengths, develop achievable goals and build the skills and confidence needed to maintain positive change.
Service Coordination
Working collaboratively with Child Protection, schools, health professionals, Aboriginal organisations and other services involved with the family to provide coordinated support.
Where it is safe and in the best interests of the child, our aim is to help families address concerns early and strengthen their ability to safely care for their children.
Where a child is already in out-of-home care, intensive family support may also contribute to work towards safe and sustainable family reunification, where reunification forms part of the child’s agreed case plan.
Our support is strengths-based, trauma-informed, culturally responsive and centred on the safety and wellbeing of the child.
We believe lasting change is achieved by working alongside families — recognising their strengths, listening to their experiences and providing practical support that helps create safer and stronger futures for children.
